Oh, how i LOVE this boy! This morning Daddy made pancakes, and somehow Drake got some on his head. He makes me laugh everyday! He is so calm and such a good baby! I don't know how I got so lucky, but I am so glad he is in our family!!!

Drake is now 9 1/2 months old! Can't believe it! But he is crawling and getting into everything. He can also stand up on anything. If I clean up one room and move on the the next, by the time i get done, my first room is completely ruined from Drake! He is like a twister, destroys EVERYTHING!!! But we love watching him explore and figure things out. Drake is such a smart little guy and very independent!

When we moved into our home in Redmond, we didn't know that it was already occupied....by MICE!!! Yes, our first day in we were trying to relax and out of the corner of my eye, I saw a little critter run through my kitchen!!! Wow, I was so scared of this tiny creature! We set mouse traps (crunchy peanut butter works best for bait) in each corner of the kitchen. I KNEW it was time for Drake to get his first pet! A little kitty! Yes, Kix is our first pet and he is adorable! He let's Drake basically beat him up, and is so soft with him. The new phrase at our house lately is, "DRAKE!!! Don't eat the kitty!" HAHA, he absolutely LOVES the kitty! And it's not all bad for me, Kix keeps Drake occupied most of the time!
So, a little update...we live in Redmond!!! Since i work in Gunnison everyday, it is only practical that we lived closer to my work...so we decided it's time! And within a week we were packed and ready to move. Matt and I absolute LOVE it here! We are just renting, but it is so quiet and so fun to be out of an apartment complex! Before, the yard was, well....UGLY! But Matt has worked hard and planted grass and it is coming up great!

Drake makes the funniest/cutest faces! He expresses each emotion that he is feeling. We went to Cedar to visit Tina/Drew and ended up going to St. George to a small, shallow river for kids. Lots of fun...
Best friends/cousins...Drew stayed over at my parents for a couple nights while Tina was camping (haha, yes i said camping) with the Relief Society. Needless to say, Drew wore G'ma and Papa out!
So...I will never be able to catch up on my blog from where i ended, so i'm going to start here, at 7 months.
I can't believe how fast time has gone since we've had our little munchkin. He is so funny, just like his dad, always laughing and gets bored VERY easily! Another trait he got from Matt, absolutely LOVES the outdoors. He would stay out there all day if i let him!
Here he is sitting in the pool with G'ma (as Drew likes to call her)...

Matt, Bradie and Brady bought some food to feed the geese and ducks. Well....it just so happens geese are VERY mean! So they all got snapped at and Brady was almost bleeding from one!! Really funny....but finally we found one that was nice and let us feed him. There were a lot of animals at the zoo. Huge turtles, tigers, lions, monkey's, Rhino, camel, giraffe, etc....But the best part of the whole day was when we got to feed the giraffe's! It was so awesome, they have a LONG tongue!!!!! Here are just a few pictures of the great day we had today...

What a sweet day we had today...us and the Cranes went to the Birmingham Zoo which is only about 15 minutes away from our apartments. It was the best day we could have gone because it wasn't too hot. We saw a lot of cool animals and enjoyed the beautiful world around us. We are so grateful to be able to see these wonderful animals. The only thing we wanted to see that we didn't were grizzly bears and of course...white tail deer (Matt was dying to see one, he's having hunting withdrawl).

What a FUN 4th of July we had. After Brady and Matt got off work we all went and ate at the Cheesecake factory....it was so fun since we had never been there. Afterwards we all gathered our fireworks and used them in our apartment parking lot. In Alabama they don't have too many rules about big fireworks, the only rule is basically don't shoot fireworks next to gas stations, so we had our own firework show and also roman candle fight! It was so much fun to get together and celebrate a wonderful holiday with great friends.

We went to Six Flags last weekend with a bunch of friends from APX! The rollar coasters were awesome! The best ride was Goliath which had two 17 story drops! Our other favorites were Batman, Superman, Goliath and the fun water loving boat ride. We had such a great time!!!!
Matt and I hard at work in Talladega!!! We got to see the race track in Talladega where they filmed Talladega Nights!!!!

Here is a picture of our apartment in Birmingham. We are in an upstairs apartment at the Springs so we really love it! I spend all day here since Matt is always working!
This is Rocky! Matt and I found him stranded on the highway in Georgia and we had to save him! He road with us all day long. We let him out for a while and he can run so fast! But in the end we let him go because we can't have pets...:(

Our apartment is right by a beautiful lake called Lake Purdy. So Matt got a fishing license and we were able to go fishing! We've never caught anything over a one pounder...but it's still fun!

Fun day at the beach in Jacksonville, Florida!!! Here in Georgia we only live about 2 hours away from the ocean. We played until dark!
Here's the whole gang at Applebee's for Matt's birthday dinner. Happy 24th Birthday Matt!
Matt's birthday was a blast! After work we invited everyone and had strawberry shortcake for dessert!
We went out to eat with some friends after a long hard day of work. We are staying in the motel right behind this restaurant.
What a beautiful temple they have here in Birmingham. The temple is very small, but still very pretty!
